Ramones - Road to ruin

" ROAD TO RUIN "

After apprehending the The Penguin, the Batman and Robin return to the Batcave for some well-deserved rest. They begin some light-hearted sparring with one another, but the fun ends when Robin receives a distress call from Wonder Girl. He doesn't want to leave Bruce, but Batman urges him to attend his teammates in the Teen Titans.

Meanwhile at Gotham Prison, the warden ushers the Penguin into a cell next to Floyd Lawton, aka, Deadshot. The Penguin brags about his special laser monocle which he intends on using to escape from prison, but Deadshot snatches it from him and uses it to affect his own escape.

That evening, Batman goes to the Tobacconists' Club for an impromptu visit with city councilman Rupert Thorne. He criticizes him for the recent cease and desist against him and warns Thorne that from now on, they will play things "Batman's way". After Batman leaves his office, Rupert Thorne receives a haunting visitation by the ghost of Hugo Strange.

The following day, Bruce Wayne meets Silver St. Cloud at the Gotham Convention Center. Silver's company is hosting the event and while there, they run into Commissioner Gordon. Gordon tells Bruce Wayne about the recent escape of Deadshot. His mind hankers back to the first time that he fought against Deadshot.

He then takes Silver to the Fox Gardens restaurant for lunch. Silver asks him a lot of questions and Bruce fears that she may suspect that he is Batman.

That night, Bruce goes on patrol as Batman, but he doesn't have far to go before he runs afoul of Deadshot. The two fight atop the Ellsworth Building and eventually make their way back to the convention center where they trade shots while leaping across a Giant Typewriter. Batman traps Deadshot behind the over-sized carriage return. Deadshot knows he is beaten and surrenders. As Batman looks up, he sees Silver St. Cloud staring back at him. She recognizes Batman as Bruce Wayne.

Elsewhere, the Joker plans his next nefarious scheme.

" EL PEZ SONRIENTE "

The night following Deadshot’s capture at ’s Exhibition Hall, The Batman visits Silver St. Cloud in her apartment thinking she has something to say to him. Even though she is startled, she tells him that she doesn’t know anything about what happened except what she saw and doesn’t know Deadshot. She takes him by surprise by saying that “I have a date with Bruce Wayne. Do you know each other?” He suspects that maybe she doesn’t know that he is Bruce Wayne and leaves saying that he made a mistake. As he leaves The Batman hears screams for help on ’s docks. He responds and finds fisherman upset about their catch.. The Batman can’t believe his eyes as he sees fish with the Jokers face. The fisherman explains “All of ’em! And it’s all the same for everybody else The next morning the Jokers fish seems to be the only newsworthy story. The Joker visits the Copyright Commission to make business arrangements for his fish. He finds himself outraged when Carl G. Francis informs him that fish are a natural resource and that they can’t be copyrighted. The Joker tells Mr. Francis if he doesn’t comply by midnight he’ll be the poorest fish of all. The Joker visits Boss Thorne next and tells him “that he also was a bidder for Batman's identity and knows that he is behind Prof. Hugo Strange’s disappearance.” Thorne goes crazy running out the building pushing his driver out of the way and takes the wheel of his limousine and screeches’ off. Later Thorne picks up Silver St. Cloud who also seems to be leaving town. That night the Batman along with Commissioner Gordon and the police plan to stop the Joker from killing Carl G. Francis. To no avail the Joker succeeds in killing Mr. Francis with a gas that was part of a binary compound and announces that the number 2 bureaucrat will be next if he doesn’t get his way.

" EL SIGNO DEL JOKER! "

The Joker still wants the copyright to his Joker-fish and promises to kill the number 2 bureaucrat if he gets no cooperation. The Gotham Police surround the number 2 bureaucrat Thomas Jackson’s House. Inside with Commissioner Gordon, the Batman disguises himself as Thomas Jackson and Jackson as Batman intending to confuse the Jokers plan of murder. Jackson’s cat walks into the room and inside his mouth a Joker-fish. Maddened, affected by the fish it quickly jumps at the throat of its master, killing him as a hideous grin spreads over Thomas Jackson's face. The Joker announces his success on the television and vows to kill the next member of the commission in the next two hours.

After Boss Thorne picked up a hitchhiking Silver St. Cloud ,he's gets angry with her disliking the topic of discussion and kicks her out of his vehicle. She walks to a small airport nearby thinking of chartering a flight. Later on as Boss Thorne drives through the storm he sees the ghost of Hugo Strange. It spirits through Boss Thorne’s windshield choking him. With the police surrounding the apartment of the third bureaucrat, the Batman surprises the Joker who was disguised as a policeman. Their climatic confrontation ends up outside where a storm is raging. They face off on a girder above Gotham River at a nearby construction site. The Joker squirts acid from his badge. The Batman makes a desperate leap for safety as lightning hits the girder. The Joker falls to his seeming death. Silver gets out of a taxi to see the battles end. The Batman scans the river for the Joker, as she approaches him. She explains and says” I love you—but I couldn’t live never knowing what each night would bring! Never knowing when your luck would run out!” As she leaves, Commissioner Gordon approaches the Batman telling him that Boss Thorne was picked up babbling every crime he ever committed and that he was now free of all "Cease and Desist " charges that were against him.

" LA JUVENTUD DE BLUEBERRY "

Este álbum contiene las historias qué narran los principios de las aventuras del teniente Blueberry. Sorprende descubrir cómo, en un primer momento, el personaje parece antipático, esclavista, dure e iracundo. Una caricatura que choca con la personalidad que conocemos del auténtico Blueberry.

" ¡EL PODER DE ELECTRO! "

Peter Parker goes to the Daily Bugle to try to talk J. Jonah Jameson into giving him a raise, Jonah tells the boy if he can get into the town of Indian Point, which has been closed off to everyone, including the press, Jameson will consider the raise. Going to Indian Point, Peter changes into Spider-Man and is able to get past the roadblock to find that the town is filled with S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Sneaking through the city, Spider-Man is confronted by Captain America, who demands that the wall-crawler leave and refuses to explain the situation. When Spider-Man doesn't listen, Captain America ends up fighting him. After a brief battle, Captain America easily bests Spider-Man and convinces him to get out because his presence will endanger his life.

Captain America rushes towards the cities power plant, thinking back to the events that brought him here: How a few days ago in Los Angeles, where Barry Starr, son of movie star Robert Starr was bit by a rat and infected with the plague. In order to get him treatment the boy was put on a trip to New York, however he was kidnapped along the way. Tracking the boy to Indian Point, SHIELD had quarantined the town in order to prevent any infections from getting out.

Confronting the kidnapper at the power plant, Captain America finds that the kidnapper is really Electro, who had kidnapped the boy as an additional money maker outside of his current job: destroy the power plant. Captain America doesn't fair very well against Electro, but is saved at the last minute by Spider-Man who had come back to help once again. The two turn the tables on Electro, and tell him that the boy is infected with the plague. The visibly ill Electro panics and tries to burn the illness out of his system by taking on the full force of the generator in the power plant. Spider-Man and Captain America manage to escape with Barry just before the plant explodes, seemingly killing Electro.

After, Captain America, Spider-Man and Barry are treated and brought before Dum Dum Dugan, who decides to report the incident as a "lightning strike" in order to prevent public hysteria.

The Amazing Spider-Man #186 "Chaos Is...The Chameleon!"

https://mega.co.nz/#!G5cGSTID!MK3XtCYxFm07RlpVzttWotny6uw19YEdiP14gLUM8Vw

" ¡EL CAOS ES EL... CHAMELEON! "

News has gone out that District Attorney Blake Tower had cleared Spider-Man of any wrong doing in the deaths of George Stacy and Norman Osborn, much to the chagrin of J. Jonah Jameson. Spider-Man himself is the last person to learn of this, and it comes as a shock and a surprised.

However, not everyone is pleased with Spider-Man's new found fame, and so a mysterious foe from Spider-Man's past has hired the Chameleon (who has new shape shifting technology) to ruin Spider-Man's reputation. Spider-Man "saves" the Chameleon who was posing as a suicidal man, as Spider-Man is making his exit the police tell him that D.A. Tower wants to see him. After visiting Aunt May in the hospital, her doctor tells Peter that if he cannot afford to keep her in the hospital, she will have to go to an old age home. Later, at his apartment, Peter is visited by Betty Brant who has decided to leave Ned Leads for good, and the two spend the whole night up talking.

Realizing that he's running late to meet with D.A. Tower, Peter shoos Betty out of her apartment and swings to Tower's office where he learns the good news much to his surprise and joy. When he's met by the press, he tells them that he'll have an official press conference in Central Park later.

Speaking with the media later, Spider-Man is attacked by the Chameleon who has come to Spider-Man disguised as an old woman, dropping the disguise only long enough for people to think that Spider-Man and old woman unprovoked. This brings great joy to J. Jonah Jameson who is watching the telecast from home. However, Spider-Man manages to capture the Chameleon and remove his hologram inducing belt and makes him confess. Spider-Man is cleared of attacking an old woman and the crowd carries him away cheering, much to Jameson's horror.

Jameson isn't the only one who has it in for the Wall-Crawler though, as the mystery man who hired the Chameleon vows to destroy Spider-Man soon enough.

The Amazing Spider-Man #184 "White Dragon! Red Death!"

" ¡WHITE DRAGON! ¡MUERTE ROJA! "

Continued from last issue.. Peter Parker has returned home from his apartment to find that Betty Brant is waiting there for him. Betty explains that she left Ned Leeds because she wasn't happy living with him in Paris, now that she's back in America, Peter was one of the first people she wanted to see. The two decide to play catch up, and Peter is not certain if he wants to get involved with Betty Brant again.

Meanwhile, at a lab uptown, J. Jonah Jameson and Marla Madison go to visit his son John who has been put in cryogenic suspension. Peter and Betty go to ESU where Peter is preparing for his graduation ceremony. There he tries to introduce himself to Philip Chang, who he will be working with next semester. Chang snaps and almost attacks Peter before storming off, muttering about Peter not being one of the Dragons.

That night Peter is web-slinging through Chinatown where he stops the Dragon Lords gang from robbing a store, however he finds the owner too fearful to report the incident to the police. Taking Betty out for Chinese later, he finds that Philip works at the Lotus Restaurant. There Peter gets Philip to confide in him. Philip explains that he's been in trouble in the past in Hong Kong when suddenly the costumed criminal known as the White Dragon enters the restaurant and kidnaps Philip. Peter tags the White Dragon with a spider-tracer.

He later tracks down the White Dragon to the Dragon Lord's hide out, where they are pressuring Philip to join their gang. Spider-Man attacks the White Dragon however is easily defeated and chained up over a vat of oil. White Dragon demands Philip join their group or Spider-Man dies. When Philip still refuses, Spider-Man is dropped in and the White Dragon ignites the oil.

This story is continued next issue....
