https://mega.co.nz/#!ewUSkYaZ!2gxsP-CK2rTUXRc_pBBXX9DCZosPKGVyEYAO3TVQhAo

" UNDERWORLD "

The issue begins with Jenny Romano waking up Jackie, who finds himself sleeping in the garbage at the back of the bar where Jenny works at. He comes inside and is offered coffee, but soon starts seeing a Darkling on his drink's reflection and walks out of the bar desperately. Sonatine is seen at this time planning to meet Jackie Estacado, as his first attempt to do so was foiled. Uncle Frankie is in the hospital, recovering from the attack last issue where Jackie observes him, before pondering going to liberty due to what one of the members of the Brotherhood of Darkness told him after the attack. He arrives in the island and is rendered unconscious by the Brotherhood, who then bring him to their underground base. The leader, Sonatine introduces himself to Jackie and explains some of the story behind The Darkness and The Angelus. Sonatine wants to use Jackie for the Brotherhood, however Jackie refuses this offer and a physical altercation ensues, which Jackie easily wins.

Back at the bar Jackie is seen with Jenny drinking and soon picks up a woman who he brings home in a cab. Sonatine then arrives in the bar a moment too late and when he finds out what happens from Jenny, he wants to stop Jackie from going home with the woman as soon as he can.

Witchblade #8 "It's too late. I'll take you to meet him but Sara's already dead."

https://mega.co.nz/#!Dp81zSTQ!qg8qEGQ4OhhgaqjaYmOMQBxZa9yao3HzOaL60lrKy-g

" ES DEMASIADO TARDE. TE LLEVARÉ A SU ENCUENTRO, PERO SARA HA MUERTO "

Selzer mocks Jake in the car as they drive to Irons' penthouse, claiming Sara is already dead. He confuses Jake by talking about the Witchblade and reveals that Irons is his boss.

Sara meanwhile is despairing and in panic over what's happening, distraught that her dream of opulence and wealth has been dashed. Irons finally reveals that he has been behind everything all along. He mocks her and laughs off Michael's death. He tells her that Nottingham attacked her on Liberty Island to drain the Witchblade's power so that he (Irons) could more easily take it himself. Sara begs Nottingham to help, talking about their shared dream. At first he doesn't stop, but then turns around and attacks Irons. Sadly this is futile, and Irons beats Nottingham badly with his fists before throwing him out the window. Sara finally cottons on the fact that Irons organized the tournament at the Rialto and had her followed the whole time. Desperate, she tries to pull off the Witchblade but it doesn't work. Irons begins the process of transferring the Witchblade to himself and manages to take some part of it, which forms the jagged armor around him.

Irons demands the rest of the Witchblade from Sara, just as Jake and Selzer show up. Selzer gets blasted by Irons using the Witchblade energy. Jake tries to shoot Irons who retaliated by stabbing him with a thin Witchblade barb through the shoulder.

This finally motivates Sara's natural protective instincts and she leaps into action, seeing Jake as Michael all over again. Irons blasts Sara out the window but she recovers and forms her own Witchblade armor. Irons thinks he is in control, but Sara has realized that the Witchblade only bonds with women, so she is its true owner. The Witchblade armor falls off Irons and reattaches to her. Defeated, Irons makes one last attack, then begs Sara to kill him. She refuses, resisting the urging of the Witchblade, but he throws himself off the building anyway.

Standing on the rooftop, Sara acknowledges that she must now take on the power of the Witchblade and use it to help her in her life.

" ... Y MIENTRAS PONEMOS MICHAEL YEE A DESCANSAR "

Sara attends Michael's funeral - she's still thinking over his death, but at the same time her thoughts are dominated by the Witchblade. As she walks away to catch a cab, Jake stares after her while Selzer gives him a hard time about his obvious feelings for her. Sara ends up walking for blocks as she can't clear her head. She thinks about how she never got desensitized by working homicide - she still feels for the deceased murder victims. Stopping at a cafe she's surprised to see Kenneth Irons - he tries to express his sympathy for Michael's death, but Sara knows he's been following her. She confronts him about the incident with the yacht and Liberty Island. He reveals that he knows about the Witchblade, which shocks her, but he convinces her to come with him so he can show her more. Jake by now is trailing the two of them. Meanwhile Lisa is at Sara's apartment attempting to break in when Julie shows up and out of the blue offers Lisa the chance to go meet some models.

Sara and Irons arrive at his penthouse and she is awestruck. He explains how he learned about the Witchblade and shows her the historical figures who have wielded it in the past. He was the one who found it on a dig in Greece. But he also reveals he and Nottingham used to be associates - he tells her Nottingham wanted the Witchblade for himself. When he saw them fighting on Liberty Island, Irons simply wanted to save Sara, he says. He offers to help her deal with or remove the Witchblade. Nottingham is secretly watching the whole thing. Irons decides to let the moment pass and sends Sara away.

Next we see Jake again. Now he's doing some detective work on the microwave murders - he knows they're connected somehow. A news reporter 'Becca' shows up and tells him what she knows about the Rialto and Nottingham.

Sara walks off through Central Park, only to be attacked by Nottingham again. She tries to shoot him but he catches the bullets. He seems to want only to talk and pins her to the ground.

" JULIE, DIJO QUE ERA UN OBSEQUIO "

Ms Boucher is talking to Julie about 'initiating' Lisa into their business, which sounds nefarious. The three of them walk into a strange party where sexily dressed women are indulging in some odd bondage activities with some tied up men.

Sara and Nottingham are in Central Park in a kind of stand-off. He tries to talk to her, but she is confused and is secretly trying to think of a way to attack him. He reveals their shared dream. She confronts him about the Rialto and demands he explain his plan and how he arranged the kidnapping aboard the yacht (as she saw it), but he has already vanished.

Becca and Jake travel together - she has evidence of Irons paying off cops. She knows that Irons and Nottingham work together. Jake is disbelieving, especially since he doesn't believe that Irons is over 90 years old.

Sara gets back to her place and tries to figure out what the truth is about Irons and Nottingham. Just as she pondering this a woman appears at the door claiming to work for Irons, with a priceless necklace and dress for Sara to wear. She invites Sara to a charity event Irons is hosting. Jake spots her as she leaves to go.

Sara makes an amazing entrance at the charity event and it all appears to go to her head - the dress, the luxury, the wealth.

Suddenly Jake shows up and confronts Sara with Becca's photos in front of everyone. He tries to convince her Irons is the real bad guy behind everything and that she's in danger. Irons appears furious and drives off with Sara in his Rolls-Royce car. She is desperate to apologize for the intrusion.

Back at the police station, Jake is furious at being blown off by Sara. Selzer winds him up about Irons, but Jake suspects he knows more about the whole thing.

By now, Sara and Irons are back at the penthouse. He rages at her, supposedly for embarrassing him about the Rialto incident and damaging his public appearance. As he harangues her, some of the Witchblade's barbs shoot out and start to cut her skin. Knowing she's weak at this moment, Irons calls Nottingham to come out of hiding!
