item on the list, his pouch of sand, Dream goes to London where a man
named John Constantine resides, the Furies told him that he was the last
one to purchase the pouch. So it is that John first encounters Dream of
the Endless, and the two work together to locate the pouch, finding it
in the possession of one of John's former lovers. She is but a pale
shadow of her former self, withered and dying, and her house is overrun
with beasts of the Dreaming, but Dream takes the pouch from her, and
puts her into a final, peaceful sleep.
