In the year 2099, New York City is a different place than the city it was in the "Heroic Age" of today. Giant corporations run the high-tech city, while the "Public Eye's" cameras monitor for criminal activity. The forgotten and unfortunate live below the towers in the streets of "downtown". Much has changed, but much too has remained "depressingly the same."

Miguel O'Hara, hot-shot geneticist, tries to quit his job at Alchemax but is addicted to a drug by his boss, Tyler Stone. In an effort to free himself of the addiction, his genetic code is merged with a spider's genetic code.

Ao no Korou - Japanese Interceptors 1945 (碧の孤狼) (Alas de Guerra Sobre Japon)

" ALAS DE GUERRA SOBRE EL JAPON "

Takizawa tiene un estilo visual “serio”, con lineas redondeadas, ojos pequeños y poses muy detalladas. Apuesta por un realismo muy marcado en las facciones de los personajes (poco caricaturizado) y se nota en cada página que es un experto en temas militares, por lo verosímil que resultan sus aviones, uniformes y armamento.

Nos pone historias que realmente habrían podido pasar inadvertidas, de carácter íntimo. Son tres relatos muy diferentes entre sí (todos sobre aviones) aunque todas ellas tienen un toque muy melancólico, muy evocador.  

La primera de las historias se llama "El Ki 108 remodelado no regresa" y trata de un caza bimotor que intenta interceptar las superfortalezas volantes B-29´s durante los últimos meses de la guerra. El avión cuenta con un terrible arma secreta que roza el terreno de lo fantástico y finalmente será destruído por los propios japoneses.

La segunda de las historias se llama "El Ki 94 II" Aquí la guerra acaba de terminar para Japón y trata de como los americanos descubren y evalúan este avión. Americanos y japoneses que solo unos días antes combatían a muerte ahora ya no son enemigos y deberán colaborar en los progresos aeronáuticos de ultima generación.

En la tercera y última historia partiendo de hechos reales (Hubo un Aichi que derribó a un Black Widow) se nos plantea un hipotético combate nocturno entre un Aichi Sensei y un P-61 Black Widow al que consigue derribar utilizando cohetes a modo de arma secreta.

Spawn is back from the dead after his death 5 years ago. Spawn is at the cemetery and he has a flashback, he remembers the CIA, Jason Wynn, his death, a deal, a lovely woman and…….a demon.

They have a news special about Al Simmons the famous CIA agent.

Sam Burke and Twitch Williams investigate a murder, and they realize this isn't a natural homicide.

Spawn has another flashback, the woman is his wife and he knows she’ll have answers. As he travels to her he kills some men trying to gang rape a woman. Another flashback even stronger he MUST find her. He has a quick connection with the woman he saves as she holds him and feels his pain. He leaves and angrily pulls down his glove and realizes the truth he’s a freak………..and somewhere in time the “Devil” laughs.
