" CRISIS ENTRE TIERRA UNO Y TIERRA DOS "
Some strange force has caused people on both Earth-One and Earth-Two to suddenly switch worlds. While Dr. Mid-Night and Black Canary are transported to Earth-One, Batman finds himself transported to Earth-Two. To make matters worse, the Spectre is drawn to the Anti-Matter Man, the being responsible, and Solomon Grundy is freed from his mystical prison and transported to Earth-One, while Blockbuster breaks free of the Alfred Foundation and finds himself transported to Earth-Two.

While Green Lantern, Hawkman, Flash, Dr. Mid-Nite and Black Canary gather at JLA headquarters, Ray Palmer cannot change into the Atom to join them because he is in the middle of a research project with a colleague. While the JLA/JSA members on Earth-One battle the threat of Solomon Grundy, Batman meets up with Dr. Fate, Sandman and Wildcat on Earth-Two where they pit their might against Blockbuster.

While on Earth-One the heroes manage to trap Solomon Grundy beneath the Earth, the heroes on Earth-Two manage to defuse Blockbuster's rampage when Batman removes his mask -- as Blockbuster associates Bruce Wayne as a friend. While the Spectre faces the Anti-Matter Master alone, and learns that this creature is the cause of all the disorder on both Earth's, and that its continued approach will cause the worlds destruction. Defeated in combat by the Anti-Matter Master, all the Spectre can do is use all his mystic power to keep the two Earth's separated.

" EL PUENTE ENTRE TIERRAS! "

As the Spectre uses all his power to keep both Earth-One and Earth-Two from crashing into each other as a result of the Anti-Matter Man's travels, the JLA and JSA members on Earth-One and Two recuperate after their battles against Blockbuster and Solomon Grundy. However, the space warp cause Solomon Grundy and Blockbuster to transport back to their original Earths. This time forcing Green Lantern, Flash, Hawkman, Black Canary and Dr. Mid-Nite to fight Blockbuster on Earth-One, and Batman, Dr. Fate, Sandman, and Wildcat to battle Solomon Grundy on Earth-Two.

Warned by his crystal that something is amiss, Dr. Fate transports the JLA and JSA members to the warp between two worlds and attack the Anti-Matter Man, but their efforts have no effect. Meanwhile finally left alone and able to become the Atom, Ray Palmer realizes that his lab assistants cosmic-scanning device was the catalyst that caused the Anti-Matter Man to attempt to travel into the positive matter universe.

Traveling to the cosmic rift, the Atom uses his scientific knowledge in conjunction with the Spectre's magic to break the warp, shunting the Anti-Matter Man back to his Antimatter universe and restore order to both Earth's. Returning to Earth, the group finds that while they were battling the Anti-Matter Man, Green Lantern transported Solomon Grundy and Blockbuster to the same Earth, where they have been battling each other since they were pulled away. They arrive just in time to see the two suddenly stop fighting and become friends, and decide to return to their own Earth's peacefully to be returned to custody.

Justice League of America #29 "Crisis on Earth-Three!" Crisis on multiple Earths Saga Vol 1

https://mega.co.nz/#%21Oh1SRA5T%21yLJ8xngKYaata-lUY3LmSiQ_DgtsEzoWhcuSkLmDrTE

" CRISIS EN TIERRA TRES! "

Having grown bored of being undefeated criminals in their home universe of Earth-Three, a reality where evil is the dominant force over good), the Crime Syndicate of America (whose members are like evil versions of the Justice League of Earth-One) learn of Earth-One and decide to commit crimes in that reality, hoping to be challenged by the Justice League of Earth-One.

Each of the CSA members battles a JLA member (Ultraman fighting the Flash, Johnny Quick fighting Batman, Superman battling Power Ring, Super Woman battling Wonder Woman, and Owl Man battling Green Lantern). Although the JLA members manage to gain the upper hand against their Earth-Three counterparts, the CSA have a failsafe: by saying the magic word "Volthoom", they transport themselves and their opponent to Earth-Three where the Earth-One counterparts are immobilized and made prisoner.

Having claimed supremacy over the Justice League, the Crime Syndicate decides to prove their ability to prove themselves superior to others and decide to target the Justice Society of America of Earth-Two, hoping to clear the playing field for a final battle between the JLA and CSA. However, the JSA having detected Ultraman's viewing their reality contact the JLA and learn that the CSA is coming to battle them, and warn their Earth-Two counterparts of their secret weapon: The magic word Volthoom.

Justice League of America #22 "Crisis on Earth-Two!" Crisis on Multiple Earths Saga Vol 1

" CRISIS EN TIERRA DOS! "

The combined efforts of the Justice League of America of Earth-One and the Justice Society of America of Earth-Two continue to try and stop the combined forces of the Crime Champions, a collation of villains from both Earths. The Earth-Two Atom and Hourman go after the Fiddler robbing a museum, Hawkman and Black Canary go after Wizard, and Doctor Fate goes after the Icicle. Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, and the Earth-One Atom go after Felix Faust, Batman and Wonder Woman go after Doctor Alchemy, and Superman and Aquaman go after Chronos who is stealing a clock from a lighthouse.

While both Green Lanterns seek to save the captured Flashes each of the other members of each respective group fails in defeating the various villains. The heroes manage to defeat their foes at first, but soon find themselves quickly defeated and trapped in cages in space just like the Flashes, due to a trap set there that is set off by the arrival of the Green Lanterns whose energies provide the remaining power needed to spring the trap.

However their imprisonment is short-lived when the two Green Lanterns are able to shrink themselves down to size to get out of their prison at the Earth-One Atom's suggestion, and then use their combined power rings and the super speed of both Flashes to free the others. The Crime Champions realise what has happened, and the Fiddler thinks there must be an Earth-Three they can escape to, which they try to find. Then the combined efforts of both the Justice League and the Justice Society defeat the Crime Champions. With their opponents defeated, both groups part company for their own worlds, taking their respective criminals back with them.

Justice League of America #21 "Crisis on Earth-One!" Crisis on Multiple Earths Saga Vol 1

" CRISIS EN TIERRA UNO "

Batman chairs a meeting of the Justice League of America. He tells the team that he just learned that Chronos, Doctor Alchemy and Felix Faust have banded together as the Crime Champions and intend to rob a bank in Powers City. The group splits into three teams to take down each of the super-villains.

Meanwhile, on the parallel world of Earth-Two, the Justice Society of America have received a challenge from three of their most well-known adversaries: The Fiddler, the Icicle and the Wizard. Eager to begin adventuring as a team once again, the JSA officially come out of retirement.

Back on Earth-One, Felix Faust plunders a sunken battleship. Aquaman, the Atom and Martian Manhunter arrive to stop him, but Faust crushes Aquaman with a tidal wave and conjures fire to keep the Manhunter at bay. The Atom knocks the fire away, and Martian Manhunter uses his Martian-Breath to blow the Atom like a bullet towards Faust, but the villain suddenly disappears.

Elsewhere, Doctor Alchemy uses his Philosopher's Stone to rob an armored car, giving it wings. Superman and the Flash arrive to stop him, but the Flash mysteriously begins vibrating and disappears. Doctor Alchemy uses his power to turn a nearby fire hydrant into Green Kryptonite, which slows Superman down. Green Arrow tries to stop the villain with his trick arrows but is caught in glue and his arrows turned to weeds, finally he uses lead to cover the Kryptonite enabling Superman to free him and they go after Alchemy, but he manages to escape.

In Powers City, Chronos the Time-Thief robs a vault. Batman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman show up and Chronos clips Batman’s Batrope with projected clock hands from his pocket watch. He keeps Green Lantern at bay with a blast of yellow smoke from his Flying Sundial and he manages to elude Wonder Woman's golden lasso with hands fired from a watch. Wonder Woman saves Green Lantern by lassoing him from the smoke, he catches Batman. Like the other villains, Chronos mysteriously disappears.

The three Earth-One villains reappear at a secret lair on Earth-Two where they meet up with the Fiddler, the Icicle and the Wizard. The Earth-Two villains regale their Earth-One partners with stories of how they recently defeated the Justice Society. The villains decide to switch places with one another with Chronos, Doctor Alchemy and Felix Faust remaining on Earth-Two, and the Fiddler, Icicle and Wizard migrating to Earth-One.

When the Earth-Two villains arrive on Earth-One, they disguise themselves as their partners so as to confuse the members of the Justice League. The Wizard uses his magic to complete their disguises, he becomes Alchemy, Icicle becomes Chronos, and Fiddler becomes Faust, and they begin a crime spree at the gambling district known as Casino Town. The Justice League tries to fight them, but their unfamiliarity with these Earth-Two villains gives the criminals a distinctive edge in combat. Superman's vulnerability against magic enables the Wizard to spring a final trap against the group. The criminals manage to apprehend the League and imprison them inside their own Secret Sanctuary. None of their powers are strong enough for them to break free. Worse, the Flash still appears to be missing in action. With little recourse, the League uses the Crystal Ball of Merlin to contact the Flash. The Flash tells them that he is trapped between dimensions and that they should use the Crystal Ball to contact their Earth-Two counterparts the Justice Society. The League conducts a séance over the Crystal Ball and the orb's magic succeeds in bringing the Justice Society to Earth-One. Both teams pledge to help the other in stopping the Crime Champions.

Flash #123 "Flash of Two Worlds!"

" FLASH DE DOS MUNDOS! "

Iris West hosts a function at the Central City Community Center on behalf of the Picture News Orphan Fund Group. Unfortunately, the magician she had hired to entertain the children fails to arrive. When Barry Allen shows up, Iris tells him the news and he suggests that he might be able to convince the Flash to stand in for the missing magician. Barry steps outside to don his Flash costume, and then races back in, much to the delight of dozens of young orphans. The Flash spends the next hour entertaining the kids with a variety of super-speed tricks. First, he astounds them by playing a game of tennis with himself. He serves the ball then races to the other side of the net to receive it just as the ball reaches its destination. He then does a variation of the old Indian rope trick. By vibrating his hands at super-speed, he makes a length of rope appear to rise into the air. He then begins scaling the rope while it continues to hover. As the children applaud, the Flash suddenly disappears, making Iris wonder what could have happened to him.

Barry reappears outside the city limits of a strange-looking town, with no idea where he is. As he begins investigating the town, though, he realizes that he is no longer in Central City. He stops at a newsstand and picks up a copy of the Keystone City Herald. The Flash recognizes the name of Keystone City as the fictional hometown of his childhood comic book hero, Jay Garrick – the original Flash. Barry recalls that comic book writer Gardner Fox created stories of Jay Garrick for Flash Comics based on dreams that he had experienced. He deduces that he must have vibrated between the dimensional barrier separating parallel worlds and has arrived on an Earth similar to the one that he had just left. On this Earth, however, the Golden Age Flash was an actual, living super-hero. Excitedly, Barry looks up Garrick's home address in a phone book and then races off to meet him.

The Flash arrives at the Garrick residence and meets an older Jay Garrick with his wife Joan. He tells them of how he knows Jay's secret identity, explaining that he is the Flash of an alternate universe. Jay confides in Barry that he was thinking of coming out of retirement due to a series of strange crimes that have been plaguing Keystone City as of late. At the Keystone City Bank for example, a teller was shocked when money suddenly began floating out of her drawer. He further describes a robbery at Carmody's Jewel Salon where the crime was obscured by a thick cloud of pure darkness. Another mysterious theft involved an armored car that was ruptured by the sounds of strange music. Upon hearing this, Barry offers to help Jay solve these mysterious crimes.

Across town, three super-criminals gather together and boast about the success of their most recent schemes. The Thinker commits crimes by way of a hypnotic Thinking Cap. The Fiddler is able to generate destructive sound waves with his violin and the Shade uses a special cane to create blankets of darkness to conceal his actions. The one thing these three have in common is that they are all old foes of the Flash. Each of them goes off to commit their next robbery.

The Thinker goes to the Jarvis estate and uses his Thinking Cap to order the guard dogs to warn the Flash about his actions should he arrive. He then hypnotizes Mister Jarvis's butler into relinquishing the valuable Neptune Cup to him. Jay Garrick arrives and is shocked when the dogs tell him that the Thinker is robbing the Neptune Cup. Jay speeds around the inside of the house, but he is unable to lay his hands on the Thinker. The Thinker is using his Thinking Cap to make himself appear to be in several places at once. When Jay finds the real Thinker he speeds after him, but the Thinker erects a wall of pure psychic energy that renders Jay unconscious upon impact.

Barry Allen meanwhile scours the docks when he sees a yacht off in the river with thick clouds of black smoke emanating from it. He runs off to investigate, but falls victim to the Shade. The Shade thinks that this Flash is Jay Garrick in a different costume. The Shade escapes in a speedboat, and lays down a slick trail of oil that prevents Barry from chasing after him. Barry later meets up with Jay at the Jarvis estate and Garrick tells him about the Thinker.

In the middle of town, the Fiddler rides down the street in his Fiddle Car and plays music from his violin. The sound waves shatter windows and cause a girder to fall from the top of a partially constructed skyscraper. A worker falls in the path of the girder, but fortunately, the Flashes arrive to save him. Jay pulls the man out of the way, while Barry deflects the falling girder. The Fiddler escapes during the melee and meets up with the Thinker and the Shade. Together they decide to rob the Keystone City Museum.

The Flashes track the villains down, but the Fiddler uses his violin to hypnotize them into obeying his commands. For fun, he has them dance for him like puppets on a string. Then he has them steal jewels for him. As the crooks gather their bounty, they prepare to leave, but the Flashes spring into action and apprehend them. The Fiddler doesn't understand how they resisted his mental commands. Jay explains that while they were forced to do the Fiddler's bidding, there was no command that prevented them from trying to escape. While robbing jewels for them, they plugged their ears with small gems, which distorted the effects of the Fiddler's violin, ultimately enabling them to break free of his control.

After the crooks are arrested, Barry and Jay say goodbye to one another and Barry invites Jay to visit his Earth some time. He then vibrates at super-speed and returns to his proper world. He then visits Iris at Picture News and explains to her why he disappeared, before deciding to visit Gardner Fox and tell him the story — so Fox can write it up in a comic book...

Superman: Superman Vol 1 #423 "Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow? Part 1" Action Comics Vol 1 #583 "Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow? Part 2"

" SUPERMAN: QUE LE PASO AL HOMBRE DEL MAÑANA? Parte 1"

This is the first part of the imaginary story detailing the final fate of the pre-Crisis modern-day Superman. It is generally told as a flashback in the year 1997 by Lois Lane Elliot, who is retired from the Daily Planet and now a happy homemaker. The first part of the story goes as follows:

One day in 1987, Superman returned from space to find Metropolis had suffered major damage, which Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen said came from Bizarro. Superman enters a wrecked department store and confronts Bizarro, demanding an explanation for all the death and destruction. Bizarro explains his reasons to Superman: he had recently realized that all these years, he has not been a "perfect imperfect duplicate", and so he took the necessary steps to fix that. Realizing that Superman came from an alien world that was destroyed by a natural accident, Bizarro destroyed Bizarro World then attempted to destroy his own birth world starting with Metropolis. Then, realizing that Superman never kills anyone (even bad people), Bizarro went on a killing spree through the city, murdering several innocent men, women, and children. Finally, Bizarro states that since Superman must live, then he himself must die. He holds up a chunk of Blue Kryptonite and presses it against his chest, fatally exposing himself to its poisonous radiation. Bizarro bids a final cryptic farewell to his longtime rival, then quietly passes away from Kryptonite poisoning, leaving Superman, shocked, confused, and saddened over what has just happened.

Following this bizarre incident, Clark Kent gets ready to join his co-anchor Lana Lang in the WGBS news room when he receives two packages. The first smaller package is a group of Superman action figures that come to life, firing deadly heat-vision beams. The production crew watch as Clark Kent is attacked by the action figures' heat vision, figuring that he would never survive, when they saw that they exposed his Superman identity to them. The action figures now also speak in the voices of the Toyman and the Prankster, the two villains behind this attack. They have Superman open up the second package, which contains the dead body of Pete Ross, whom the two criminals have extracted information about Superman from. Superman finds out where the two criminals are hiding and bring them to justice, but as his civilian identity is now compromised, he fears that as the villains who were nuisances to him were becoming killers, he can only wonder what will become of those who are killers.

Speaking of which, Lex Luthor was up around the North Pole area where he finds the inert head of Brainiac in his robotic skeletal form when parts of his head started attaching themselves to Luthor's head, taking control of him. Brainiac now reveals that he is taking control of Luthor's body as part of a new form of partnership between the two, and that now he is seeking revenge against Superman for what he had done to him. Brainiac now guides Luthor's body back to civilization where he is to build a new ship for the robot.

Back in Metropolis, a group of men gather around outside the Daily Planet building on a hot day when they start shooting harpoons from their chest, revealing themselves to be humans converted into Metallos. They assault the staff of the Daily Planet and cause Lois Lane to fall from a window when Superman appears to rescue her and to magnetize the Daily Planet globe to capture all the Metallos inside the building. When that was done, Superman transported Lois, Jimmy, Lana, Perry White, and his wife to his Fortress of Solitude where they would be safe. As they were escaping the city, the merged Brainiac/Luthor shows up in a smaller version of Brainiac's skull ship to pick up Kryptonite Man as he appears calling out for Superman to challenge him.

That night, as Perry and his wife sleep in separate rooms, and Lana and Lois hold each other while crying themselves to sleep, Superman is joined by his dog Krypto as the Legion of Super-Heroes' time bubble appears, bringing with the group a young version of Supergirl who has yet to know that she has died during the Crisis On Infinite Earths. Brainiac 5 presents Superman with a special memorial trophy, seemingly as if they were never going to see him alive again after this. Following their departure, Superman is seen burying his face in his hand, crying.

To be continued in Action Comics #583.

" SUPERMAN: QUE LE PASO AL HOMBRE DEL MAÑANA? Parte 2 "

This is the second part of the imaginary story detailing the final fate of the pre-Crisis modern-day Superman. It is generally told as a flashback in the year 1997 by Lois Lane Elliot, who is retired from the Daily Planet and now a happy homemaker. Prior to the second part being told, Lois Lane Elliot introduces her husband Jordan to the Daily Planet reporter doing the interview with her. The second part of the story goes as follows:

As Superman is seen melting down the giant key that opens up the Fortress of Solitude, Brainiac/Luthor shows up somewhere near the fortress when they are joined by the Legion of Super-Villains, offering their help to defeat and destroy Superman. To that end, Brainiac/Luthor erects a force field that prevents any other superheroes from the outside to help Superman. Also, the Kryptonite Man's deadly radiation keeps Superman and his dog Krypto at bay from attacking them.

Seeing that Superman needs help, Jimmy Olsen and Lana Lang equip themselves with the powers they had when they adopted superhero identities, transforming themselves into Elastic Lad and Insect Queen as they take on the group of villains outside the fortress. Luthor has Lana kill him so that Brainiac would no longer have any control of him, but the Legion of Supervillains quickly destroy Lana afterward. Jimmy comes to avenge her death, but Brainiac resumes control of Luthor's body long enough to kill Jimmy and to launch a missile that rips a gaping hole into the fortress. With the fortress breached, Kryptonite Man enters, seeking to kill Superman, but Krypto attacks and risks his life to kill the radiating villain.

Superman carries Lois Lane and the trophy with him when he sees the Legion of Supervillains inside his fortress, gloating about the deaths of Lana and Jimmy. This makes Superman angry enough to attack them with his heat vision, causing them to retreat and return back to the future. Outside the fortress, Superman sees that Brainiac's head is losing control of Luthor's body as it succumbs to rigor mortis and detaches himself from it, vainly trying to crawl its way toward Superman before it goes completely dead.

It is at this point that Superman begins to consider that somebody must be behind all the villains turning against him, and so calls out Mxyzptlk's name. He appears unto Superman, revealing that he has grown tired of becoming a mere nuisance and is now deciding to become fully evil. Mxyzptlk also starts to change from his harmless impish self to a hideous dark creature intent on overpowering Superman enough to kill him. Superman then looks at the trophy, realizing that its Superman figure is holding a Phantom Zone projector, and so goes to get the Phantom Zone projector to use it on Mxyzptlk. As he activates it, Mxyzptlk speaks his name backwards in order to return to his home dimension, but finds himself being pulled into two different dimensions and screams as he is being ripped apart.

Realizing that he has just broken his own moral code to not kill, Superman goes into the Gold Kryptonite chamber to strip himself of all his powers as Lois Lane sadly watches on. With the force field Mxyzptlk kept active now powered down, the heroes outside the barrier enter the fortress to find dead bodies of all of Superman's friends except for Lois, Perry White, and his wife, still being alive. They see that Superman has departed from the chamber through a secret passageway and is now wandering outside in subzero temperatures where supposedly he would die.

It is at this point where the story closes, with Lois Lane Elliot telling the reporter that any possible rumors of Superman still being alive after that are not likely to be true. As the Daily Planet reporter departs, Jordan Elliot brings their son Jonathan into the living room, where he plays with a piece of coal that he turns into a diamond. He and Lois both decide to relax with a pizza and a bottle of wine, and as Jordan turns to close the door in the last panel, he slips the reader a wink.
