SPIDER-MAN!: Lonely
high-school student Peter Parker attends a science experiment. During
the experiment, a spider absorbs an uncanny amount of radiation before
biting Peter. Soon after, Peter discovers that he has powers similar to
that of a spider – he is incredibly strong and can stick to walls. He
decides to use his newfound power to earn money, creating the identity
of ‘Spider-Man’. Spider-Man soon becomes an overnight sensation.
Spider-Man selfishly fails to stop a burglar, as he feels it’s not his
problem.
However, when Peter returns to his house one
night, he discovers that his beloved Uncle Ben has been shot in a
botched robbery. As Spider-Man, Peter tracks down the murderer, but is
shocked to discover it is the thief he allowed to escape earlier. Racked

Riding aboard a jet to catch up with John's capsule, Spider-Man web-zips to the capsule, where he is able to replace the defective guidance control and John is able to land safely. When the
master criminal known only as The Chameleon hears of Spider-Man's
attempt, he concluded that he must be desperate for money. Breaking into
a military compound dressed as Spider-Man, he steals a set of missile
plans; framing Spider-man in the process. While Spider-Man is able to

his appearance to mimic one of the security officers and nearly manages
to escape, until Spider-Man uses his Spider-sense to discern which

Dr. Otto Octavius was an atomic scientist. His peers gave
him the name Doctor Octopus due to the four remote-controlled "arms" he
had created to handle radioactive materials. During an experiment, an
explosion caused the arms to be fused to Octavius. He also could control

verge of insanity, Dr. Octopus begins his criminal career.

J. Jonah Jameson's learns of the accident and the havoc caused by Dr.
Octopus, he sends Peter Parker to obtain some pictures for the Daily
