" RUMPELSTILTSKIN "

A mother resents her infant son, a young girl is in jeopardy of losing her unborn child and a mysterious stranger connects the women’s souls through an abiding tale… When a desperate father lies about his daughter’s gifted ability it immediately puts the girl’s life in danger. Her only salvage may be found in a deal with a hideous dwarf who offers to help her for a tremendous price. The classic story of Rumpelstiltskin gets the Zenescope treatment and delivers yet another shocking twist for fans of this intriguing series.

Sela overhears a young woman having an argument with her boyfriend. She is pregnant but is afraid of having an abortion. Instead the boyfriend suggests that while he is not ready to be a father and have a child drag him down, that the couple should consider selling the child to a rich family. Sela interjects after he leaves and begins to tell the familiar though somewhat modified version of Rumpelstiltskin which follows the story to most of its usual plot developments, except that the evil dwarf in the end is able to not steal the princess's first born child but rather transfer his hideousness to him. The princess is devastated but she in the process she learns the value of a child, as does the young woman who had to make the choice about her unborn one.

" LA BELLA DURMIENTE "

Brett has a huge crush on Haley, the hottest girl in school, and when she asks him to do her a risky favor he decides it’s worth it for a chance to win her over. His decision calls on a mysterious stranger who introduces him to the world of Grimm Fairy Tales… A beautiful yet narcissistic princess becomes the victim of a terrible curse. A handsome servant soon realizes he might have the ability to break the spell and marry the girl of his dreams but he quickly realizes that sometimes it’s best to let sleeping dogs lie.

A teenage boy has a platonic love for a girl in his class. She manipulates him to going on an errand for her to get drugs for her friends. In so doing he picks up Sela's fairy tale book and reads the story of Sleeping Beauty. The story is similar except that Sleeping Beauty is vain and self absorbed. The caveat in this story is that the person to kiss her to wake her up from her sleep must have true love in his heart. When others try they die immediately from a curse. When the man with true love comes along Sleeping Beauty must marry but does not love him back. He finds this out eventually and it breaks his heart and he dies as well from the curse. Sleeping Beauty is forced into a sleep of a hundred years as it is impossible to love her through her own self absorption. In the modern day the young man realizes he must break his crush on the girl and returns to her with no drugs and informs her he has had enough of her.

" EL NOVIO BANDIDO "

Two beautiful sisters compete for the attention of the hottest guy at school. When he chooses one over the other a nasty fight erupts between the two siblings, threatening to shatter their sisterly bond. A trip to the world of Grimm Fairy Tales teaches them that blood is literally thicker than water.

Set against the modern bickering of two sisters over a boy that they both like, Sela arrives to tell the story of the Robber Bridegroom. This story deviates somewhat from the original fairy tale as there are two sisters involved in this story and they both meet and fall in love with a handsome prince. While one of the girls is to marry the prince, the other plots against her which leads to her death and the other sister replaces her as the prince's wife. As with the original fairy tale, the new princess does not realize the darker side of her new husband and she does not survive their first night together. In the modern day the sisters realize family is more important than the attention of the boy they both liked.

" CAPERUCITA ROJA "

Exploring the connection between sex and violence, the adaption of Little Red Riding hood confronts that line. The werewolf displays the lust and animal nature of sexuality while Red symbolises the innocence and purity of love. The hunter is the balance between them both, taking you back close to the original story of the brothers Grimm rather than the doused down version we know today, the true moral behind the story is displayed.

A young girl with doubts about losing her virginity to her pushy boyfriend reads a story about Little Red Riding Hood in a book she finds beside her bed. The story of the fairy tale character parallels her own, and the ending of the updated story teaches her a lesson, which feels all too real.

In so doing they are picked up by the series protagonist Sela, who tells them the story of Hansel and Gretel.
