The Amazing Spider-Man #15 - Kraven The Hunter!


¡ Kraven el Cazador !

Spider-Man swings down and catches a group organizing a bank robbery and upon dropping in unexpectedly, a man escapes in a puff of smoke and changes his costume until he can hide. The criminal actually was The Chameleon in disguise and he plots to rid the world of Spider-Man. The Chameleon comes up with the idea of contacting his friend Kraven the Hunter. Parker finds this out firsthand when taking photographs for The Daily Bugle when Kraven arrives by boat. After studying Spider-Man's fighting style, by organizing a robbery for Spider-Man to stop. Kraven finally comes out of hiding and fights Spider-Man. Spider-Man realizes the true strength of Kraven and also realizes that Kraven cheats by infecting his opposition with drugs that weaken them. Spider-Man retreats to fight another day. Pete however begins to get the shakes so bad that he can't hold a test tube or shoot a web straight. He decides to track Kraven's future location by attaching a Spider-Tracer and is led into a nearby forest where he faces Kraven. After a few tricks and traps, Spider-Man finally catches hold of what appears to be Kraven but is actually The Chameleon in disguise. After learning this, Spider-Man hunts down and finds the real Kraven, intimidates and overpowers him with his agility and strength. After fighting, Kraven ends up running into a giant sticky web to be picked up by the police. Kraven and The Chameleon are then deported, with Kraven swearing revenge upon Spider-Man.

The Amazing Spider-Man #14 - The Grotesque Adventure of the Green Goblin



La Grotesca Aventura del Duende Verde

No es un nuevo villano en la ciudad, el es el Duende Verde. Después de que perfeccionó su escoba voladora el hace una visita a Los Ejecutores y les ofrece la oportunidad de vengarse en contra de Spider-Man. Luego viaja a California para visitar a BJ Cosmos, un director de cine que hizo a lo grande con su última película "La cosa sin nombre de la laguna de Negro en la Ciénaga de Turbias". El Duende le ofrece la idea de su próxima pelicula: Una película sobre Spider-Man.

Al regresar a Nueva York, el Duende Verde luego se va en círculos alrededor de la ciudad hasta que consigue la atención de Spider-Man. Él hace la oferta de cine con Spider-Man que se compromete a participar en la pelicula. Con el anuncio de que Spider-Man va a estar en una película, J. Jonah Jameson envía a Peter a Hollywood para cubrir la historia, esto preocupa a Betty Brant, porque cree que Peter caera por alguna estrella de la pantalla de plata.

Al llegar a California, informa Peter al estudio de BJ Cosmos como Spider-Man que ya llego, y él, el Duende Verde y lo que él cree que son los actores que se asemejan mucho a los Ejecutores son llevados a Nuevo México para una secuencia de lucha que se filmó en el desierto.

Allí, el Duende Verde revela sus verdaderos motivos y Spider-Man pelea contra él y los Ejecutores a través del desierto. Su lucha les lleva a una cueva, donde Spider-Man derrota fácilmente a los Ejecutores. Sin embargo, se topan con el escondite de Hulk. Spider-Man se ve obligado a defenderse del gigante de jade. Él usa la fuerza de Hulk a su favor, Despues Hulk rompe una roca bloqueando la salida de la cueva.

El Duende Verde se escapa, y peter se esconde hasta que Hulk salga del área, que luego sale de la Ejecutores para ser recogidos por la policía. De regreso a Hollywood, Spider-Man encuentra que BJ Cosmos ha decidido cambiar la idea de la película de Spider-Man a favor de una película de Hulk. Cuando Spider-Man exige el pago, se le deniega, Cosmos citando el contrato que firmó que Spider-Man sólo se le pagara si la película se terminó. Peter se ve forzado a usar el resto de su dinero con el autobús de vuelta a Nueva York. Mientras tanto, en algún lugar de la ciudad, el Duende Verde reanuda su disfraz civil misterioso y comienza trazando su siguiente esquema contra Spider-Man.

The Amazing Spider-Man #13 - The Menace of Mysterio

¡ La Amenaza de... Mysterio !

Reports of Spider-Man robbing various establishments at night hit the news, causing Peter to wonder if he's developed multiple personality disorder and goes on crimes sprees in his sleep as Spider-Man. He decides to go see a psychiatrist, however changes his mind about getting help as Spider-Man believing that it may compromise his secret identity. 

Later, Peter goes to visit J. Jonah Jameson for a loan so that his Aunt May can make her mortgage payment on time. When there he snaps at Betty when she asks him why he hasn't taken any pictures recently, and Jameson rejects his request for a loan and tells him to go out and take more pictures. When Peter tries to find some crimes to photograph as Spider-Man, he only succeeds in getting an angry mob after him. Later at school Liz Allen tries to impress people with her new hair style, and she snubs Flash Thompson when he comments that her new look is so beautiful that he didn't recognize her. 

Meanwhile, at the Daily Bugle, a new costumed being named Mysterio appears and tells Jameson that he's a crime fighter and that he will bring Spider-Man to justice. He vanishes in a puff of smoke and leaves a note for Jameson telling him to publish a challenge to Spider-Man to meet on the Brooklyn Bridge. Peter decides to meet this challenge, and is easily defeated by Mysterio who appears to have magical powers. 

The next day Mysterio is heralded as a hero, and later when he appears at the Daily Bugle building for a photo opportunity with Jameson, Peter tags Mysterio with a Spider-Tracer finding him suspicious. 

Tracking Mysterio to his base, Spider-Man is told by Mysterio that he is a special effects artist who has decided to turn his skills to crime and that he reproduced Spider-Man's abilities artificially in order to frame him for the crimes he committed. Spider-Man then reveals to Mysterio that he recorded the whole confession. A battle ensues, and Spider-Man uses his Spider-Sense to his advantage when Mysterio fills the room with smoke. 

With Mysterio turned over to the police, Jameson realizes that he's been made a fool of again. However, when he finds that Parker has brought him pictures of Spider-Man's fight with Mysterio, his mood changes. Later Spider-Man pays another visit to Jameson and strings him up from his office's ceiling and mocks him for once again making a fool out of himself with his anti-Spider-Man press.

Jimi Hendrix era increíble, incluso en una mala noche. Y el 09 de enero 1969 claramente no era la mejor noche de la Jimi Hendrix Experience. Era la segunda noche de la gira europea del grupo, y la televisión sueca estaba allí para capturar el primero de dos conciertos que la noche en el concierto de Estocolmo Hall, o Konserthuset.

"Vamos a tocar nada más que algunas viejitas esta noche," Hendrix dice al comienzo. "No hemos tocado juntos en unas seis semanas, por lo que vamos a improvisar esta noche y ver qué pasa. Espero no les importe." A medida que se aleja del micrófono se le puede escuchar murmurar, "Ustedes no saben la diferencia, de todos modos".
